Eden Agranat Meged (piano)

Pianist Eden Agranat Meged achieved international recognition by winning the 3rd Prize at the International Bach Competition in Leipzig. He also received the Steinway Prize, joining the Steinway Prize Winners’ Concert Network. Competition successes have also included 1st prizes at the Royal Academy of Music's Lilian Davis Beethoven Competition, Harriet Cohen Bach Competition and the Harold Craxton Chamber Music Competition. Eden received the first prize at the Coulsdon and Purley Festival Concerto Competition. In Israel, Eden was awarded 1st prizes in the Pnina Salzman Competitions and received scholarships from the AICF and the Zfunot Culture trust.

Highlights this season include invitations for solo performances with orchestras throughout Argentina, Israel and the UK as well as his Wigmore Hall début recital.

Eden has performed at international festivals across Israel, Europe and the USA, and has performed concerti with orchestras including the German Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, Entre Ríos Symphonic Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony, Haifa Symphony, Ashdod Symphony, and Israel Stage Orchestra.

Eden's musical journey began at the Jerusalem Hassadna Conservatory with Anat Paul and continued at the Kfar Saba Conservatory with Adela Umansky. He graduated from the JMC Excellence Piano Program under the guidance of Murray Perahia. He subsequently graduated with First Class Honours from the Royal Academy of Music, studying in the class of Ian Fountain, and is starting the Artist Diploma course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with full scholarship, under the guidance of Ronan O'Hora. Eden has participated in masterclasses with Emanuel Ax, Imogen Cooper, Richard Goode and Menahem Pressler.
