Amandine Savary is 23 years old and already has a solid pianistic experience. In 2006 she was selected for the Tillett Trust Young Artists' Platform Scheme and in February 2007 made her Wigmore Hall début. She was the winner of the Harriet Cohen BACH Prize 2006 awarded by the Worshipful Company of Musicians. She has recently been awarded the Philip and Dorothy Green award for Young Artists Concerts Series 2008 as well as the Park Lane Group Young Artists Series 2008. She has also been selected from the Holland Music Sessions 2007 as New Masters on Tour 2008-2009 and will make her debut at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and in Romania, Czech Republic, Russia, Estonia, Lithuani and Slovakia. She has also received scholarships from the Royal Academy of Music, the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Martin Musical Scholarship, Hattori Foundation, and the Worshipful Company of Musicians.

After graduating with honours from the Caen Conservatoire, in 2003 she was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music to study with Christopher Elton and Alexander Satz and is currently studying in a Masters Concert Project at the Royal Academy of Music under Christopher Elton as well as studying chamber music at the Queen Elisabeth College in Belgium under the Artemis Quartet and Menahem Pressler from the Beaux Arts Trio. She has taken part in masterclasses with eminent musicians such as Arie Vardi, Boris Berman, Klaus Hellwig, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Alexander Satz, Natalia Gutman, Sigmund Nissel, Zakhar Bron, Elisso Virssaladze and Martha Gulyas.

As well as appearing as a soloist, she has performed as a chamber musician with artists including Paul Neubauer, Mats Lidstrom, Claes Gunnersson, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi and Andre-Gilles Duchemin in prestigious international festivals such as the Aix en Provence Festival, the Festival International de Musique de Dinard Côte d'Emeraude (Brittany), Encuentro de Musica y accademia de Santander (Cantabria), the Kyoto International Music Festival, the International Holland Music Sessions 2007 and at the Bloomsbury, Harrogate, Kings Lynn and Norwich festivals as well as at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon. She made her North American debut at the Festival classique des Hautes Laurentides in Quebec. Radio and television broadcasts include France 3 Television, Mezzo Sequences, BBC Radio, Radio France Musique and National Latvian Radio.

Strongly committed to performing contemporary music, she has worked with composers including Luciano Berio, Ivan Fedele, and Yoshihisa Taira.

Future engagements include recitals in England, France, Libya, Latvia, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Japan and appearances at the Purcell Room, Southbank Centre.
