The Eidos Trio was formed at the Royal College of music in 2008 and is composed of award-winning musicians from both Russia and the UK. Having performed at various venues including the RCM and St James's, Piccadilly, future engagements include a concert in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire (December 2010) and a performance in the St Lawrence Jewry Music Festival in London (August 2010). The trio also has plans to perform at St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Royal College of Art and the National Gallery.

William Stafford was awarded the Royal Northern College of Music's Gold Medal in 2008 (the college's highest and most prestigious award for performance) and has since appeared as principal clarinet with the London Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to his work with the Eidos Trio, he has enjoyed collaborations with other artists such as Maurice Bourgue, Sergio Azzolini, Richard Watkins and Michael Collins.

Ilya Movchan studied at the State Music School in Petrozavodsk, the Moscow State Conservatory and Royal College of Music. He is currently undertaking a postgraduate diploma at Trinity College of Music supported by a Golubovich scholarship. He has participated in international masterclasses in Holland, Germany, Norway, and his native Russia. Ilya has won numerous prizes including First and Special Prize at the International Violin Competition for young performers in Bulgaria, and First Prize at the International Chamber Music competition of Judina in St Petersburg. He was recently awarded Third Prize at the Carl Flesh International Violin Competition in Hungary (2008), and First Prize at the International Bromsgrove Young Festival (2009). Ilya has performed at Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall, and St James's Piccadilly.

Selected as a 'Rising Star' to play at the Cadogan Hall, Konstantin Lapshin graduated with distinction in a Masters degree from the Royal College of Music in 2009. He was supported by the ABRSM in his studies with Professor Vanessa Latarche, and received the highest RCM award, the Queen Elizabeth Rose Bowl. Konstantin was awarded the Mills Williams Junior Fellowship to support his continued studies at the RCM in 2009-2010. He is currently supported by the Worshipful Company of Musicians as well as being a Concordia artist for 2010-2011. He is a prize-winner of numerous international competitions, most recently the Isidor Bajic competition in Serbia (2nd prize) and the Mendelssohn Cup in Taurisano, Italy (1st prize). Konstantin has performed at Cadogan Hall, Steinway Hall, Drapers' Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St George's Hanover Square, the Purcell Room and Pushkin House. Upcoming engagements include performances at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, Wigmore Hall, St James's Piccadilly, Bath Piano Recitals Series, Rachmaninov Concert Hall in Moscow and the Salle Cortot in Paris. In 2009 Konstantin made his debut CD on 'Classical Records' with Schumann and Tchaikovsky-Pletnev.
